Since 2008, the Kids4Kids My Story Creation annual story writing and illustration competition have provided primary students across Hong Kong with a creative platform that enables the budding writers and artists to imagine, create and share their stories.
Our core judges select ten stories written and illustrated individually or in groups from the competition to be published in this annual Treasury. Inside this Volume 8, these young storytellers have shared their creativity and imagination from taking the reader to the future, meeting with aliens and being friends with dragons. The stories inspire others to follow their dreams, have hope and the courage to tell their story about what they care about most.
Proceeds from the sale of this Treasury publication will help fund the Literacy Development Programmes at Kids4Kids by providing creative learning opportunities to low resourced communities in Hong Kong. 自二零零八年起，童協基金會每年均舉辦「我的故事創作」比賽，藉此為全港小學生提供發揮創意的平台，並讓這些正在萌芽的小畫家和小作家分享他們創作的故事。
童協基金會作品集裡刊登的十個故事由「我的故事創作」比賽專業評審團於個人或團體類別的參賽作品中選出。在此作品集中，小作家們帶領讀者與龍交朋友、探索未來及接觸外星人。這些故事將會鼓勵讀者透過故事創作表達自己的內心世界，勇於追隨夢想。
作品集的銷售收益將用於資助童協基金會的讀寫發展項目，為在資源匱乏環境下學習的學童提供支援。你的慷慨支持不僅鼓勵香港未來的畫家和作家，也為有需要的學童帶來希望。
